Ok, i shall post something.
Today went to school for OP "rehearsal". Well, eng meng claim that we will be rehearsing but eventually we didnt manage to find a room to rehearse. zi rong thought that it was a waste of time and she walked off angrily. well, i think that my group is the funniest group as said by bernard. i think ms chiam was trying something interesting out by putting 5 people with totally different views together. well, that is why my group seldom meet up. i remember that time we met for OP discussion then we had an arguement instead. hahas Project Work is really a waste of time i think...

CONGRATS to lynn wong, my dear god sister for successfully passed her dance DSA audition. As long as she score below 20 marks, she will get into vjc!
Very long never blog already. Seriously, i have tested the concept that the amount of reward you get is equal to the effort you put in. Formy mid year right, beacuse it was after june holidays, i didnt have the initiative to study. then now my mid year is damm screwed up. but well luckily it's only the mid year.
Well, anyone now for a GP topic: Is it really possible for those mentally challenged to be reaccepted into the society? Well, if you take bus service 656 everyday yduring the time of 6.30pm to 6.45pm, you would see a mentally challenged lady. she is now working in one of the singapore's company. more than often, she would unknowingly sing to herself or speak to herself, sometimes rather loudly. everyone would then use a discriminating look to stare at her. oblivious to her surrounding, she continued singing and talking to herself.
well, here's a link to the news of the fastest burger eater in singapore:

A very meaningful story from an email that i received:
NAIL IN THE FENCE
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper . His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper , he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.
He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence.
The fence will never be the same.
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.
You can put a knife in a man and draw it out.
It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry , the wound is still there.
A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."

Had YEC policy forum duty at suntec. met ian at compass at 850. then sylvester, one of our yec friend drove us there. then we went to the suntec basement foodcourt to eat. then went for duty. we were the first to reach. it was held at hall 201 and 202. quite a small hall though. we were assigned to videoing the whole thing. interesting job. the forum was quite informative. with panellist like a HR director and the public relations director of SIM, we got insights on teritary education matters- such as the recent fiasco about not recognised universities and found out about what HR companies look out for in their interviews. was a successflu event.
then after that went to movie with ian and sylvester. watched angels and demons. quite a nice show. it's basically about the death of the pope and about the son of the pope hiring another person to steal the anti-matter created by some scientists to destroy the whole vernica city. very good plot but a bit reglious though. was an excellent movie. however, the eng wah cinema in suntec that we went to was disappointing. the counter staffs were VERY slow, not just slow. and the popcorn that they sold us were like badly popped. got a lot of unpopped popcorn. chatted a lot and learnt a lot today. had a great day!
let me just post about tomorrow as well, since i guess tomorrow i wont havce time to blog. will be helping for YEC again. tmr have sengkang west forum. then after that have event management interest group meeting at Anchorvale CC, then after that maybe need to attend the official opening of a mosque in buangkok representing the avcc yec. then after that have a policy forum at PA HQ. Well, this weekend of mine is totally devoted to YEC. i love YEC!
